Business Description
Right now I offer 1 hour portrait sessions for $75. This includes a custom CD with images in color and black and white with a print release! Professional prints are available at an extra charge but are not required.
I am a wife, a mommy of a baby boy and 2 year old Great Dane(Liberty), and the Owner/Photographer of Shanell Reed Photography. I am located in Fort Riley, Kansas where my husband is stationed with the U.S. Army. I frequently travel to the Mckinney, Texas area where I am from.
I first realized my love for photography my junior year in high school when I took a beginners photography class with just a point and shoot camera. In 2010 I bought my camera hoping to capture great quality memories. I photographed a few friends for fun in 2011 and decided I wanted to do more with my passion. 2012 was the start of Shanell Reed Photography I didn't start out the greatest but I improved more and more throughout the year!
I am a survivor of eclampsia! Eclampsia is a very serious complication of Pre-Eclampsia that is characterized by one or more seizures during pregnancy. It can also lead to a coma or even death. I had no risk factors and showed no signs or symptoms until the very end of my pregnancy. It was the biggest wake up call in my life. But, now I really cherish and enjoy every day as if it were my last.
After having my son, I have been inspired so much more because I want to capture every detail of his life. I want him to be able to look at and relive his childhood through photographs that I have taken of him.
